Professional artist working primarily in oils. Born in Santiago, Chile, I received a BA from the University of Texas at Austin.
after a few years of bouncing around the US, in places like Houston, Dallas, Washington DC, and New Mexico, I currently live and work in Austin, Texas. Beyond the University, I studied Figurative and landscape painting along with photography. I work using a combination of photography and small sketches in oils from life. These are then used to get ideas for larger paintings. My work is in national and international collections, including the South Texas Museum of Art in Corpus Christi, Texas, The Blanton Museum at the University of Texas, and the University of Texas at San Antonio Museum of Art.
