I have been a photographer for over forty years. In that time I have had two commercial studios. I now just make photographs for myself. I work mainly in film, only using digital for non-personal work. Most all of my work now is black and white figure studies and portraits. Very seldom work outside with natural light. It’s much harder to control the sun than it is artificial lights. I am looking for models that are very comfortable with themselves and are patient, since working in medium format with film slows the picture taking process down compared to digital. As you can see from my photos that I have posted my style is, for lack of a better term, classic figure studies. If you would like to add this type of work to your portfolio please let me know.
