logo-bio is a widely celebrated and respected contemporary fashion visual artist. Recent work has moved from editorial fashion to art based fashion photography.

Starting out as an assistant in Milan, CARTER quickly learned the principles of light and movement. Whilst in Milan, Carter worked on shoots for Vogue Italia and L'Uomo Vogue. This intrigue led to photographic collaboration and experimental techniques drawn from various disciplines that are now a trademark of his style. CARTER uses unconventional techniques drawing heavily from method acting, movement of dance, contemporary art, psychology and anthropology. His models are often put through an intense emotional journey to achieve his images believing true emotion cannot be instantly captured through sudden direction.

CARTER's work has been published internationally with great success and he continues to create meaningful and prolific imagery for a wide client base. 2012 will see CARTER produce a series called: 'Whatever Doesn't Kill You' featuring fashion models, celebrities and world figures who have experienced dramatic transitions in the face of adversity.
