I am a portrait photographer and I run a business that specialises in maternity, children’s and teenager makeover photography. I started this business out of a necessity to grow and expand. Not literally of course but technically and most importantly to me at the time, to earn money and buy new expensive equipment. Well I have been reasonably successful at that but beneath that mildly shallow veneer is a cross format artist who has a voice and vision.

That vision spans many genres and shoot types and involves a cross format experience. 35mm, 120, digital, Canon, Mamiya, Brownie, Diana, Lomo, Polaroid and many others. Skills, knowledge and experience (equipment) don't come for free. To kick of my first project that will be showcased on my new website and social media platforms, is a typical glamour type affair. YAWN! Yup there is a lot of that around especially over the 3 main model/portfolio websites. It is my intention to shoot in a vintage style, fashion and manner from the clothes that are worn, to the equipment and film used and ensuring that it maintains a distinctly feminine edge. Soft pastels, high key, warm tones and tons of texture.

I do have my own MUA and I will be looking for models to test and shoot. I will be looking for "that" look whatever it means. Makeup will be kept to a minimum (if at all) and the shoots may involve fashion, editorial, sheer lingerie, topless, implied and nude.
