**07/23/09 UPDATE** So, I've been away a while and though I'm not in the best of shape just yet, I'm ready to get back in front of the camera. Anyone interested in the shape of a real woman, a mother, and the emotion and drive that fuel such women, please contact me about a shoot.
Also, if anyone is interested in commercial mother/daughter shoots, my baby girl is gorgeous. Don't just take my word for it. I have pics to prove it.
**UPDATE** On December 17, 2008 I had my first child. She is beautiful, wonderful and very demanding.
Because of that, I will not be shooting for a while. However, I do hope to pick it back up in the Spring. So, please contact me with any ideas you may have. I'm looking forward to returning to modeling with a new emotion and new drive that only motherhood can bring.

So… a little about me. I am Heather Raye. I do not disclose my last name until necessary. I prefer to be called Heather Raye, not just Heather. I am an aspiring singer-songwriter who has realized that modeling is actually another artistic and emotional outlet. I am an open canvas, very willing to learn and try new things.
I am a freckled girl and I have NO interest in covering them. If you do not like my freckles, I am not interested in your work. They are unique to me and part of who I am.
I will NOT do TF* nude work unless I feel your talent is of a caliber that is worth it. I will not sign a model release for ANY unpaid work. This is NOT negotiable. I love photography and modeling as an art form but there is always something to be said for professionalism.
SOME THINGS I HAVE LEARNED ABOUT MYSELF:
Music is a necessity for me to shoot successfully.
(and it should be my choice of music because i know what inspires my mood and energy. however, i will try to compromise. but forgive me if i feel the need to play a single song on repeat several times. don't worry... my roommates hate it too. haha.)
I NEED to be well prepared.
I work better when I have an idea of the mood and tone of the shoot long before the day of shoot.
I work best with good direction.
