Akeala Marshana Flanigan was born October 18, 1994 in Tallahassee, Florida. At the age of 5 she would browse through her mother’s Victoria Secret catalogs, where she saw Tyra Banks and immediately told her parents that she wanted to be a supermodel. Throughout life Akeala’s main focus has been modeling, but she also ventured into the sports arena where she has been a cheerleader, played basketball and volleyball.
