I maintain a modeling portfolio here (#1837726 Lovely Wednesday), but have always kind of wanted to work on the other side of the lens. My childhood was full of my friends and I taking pictures of each other, but I'm afraid that that, my experience as a model, my aesthetic senses, and my love of art and design are my only qualifications.

If you consider a certain subculture to be part of your personal identity, I would ABSOLUTELY be interested in photographing you from that perspective. I have a vested interest in subcultures. I'd also like to learn more about it if you'd like to share your experiences and values and stories and so on. I have a casting call up for this.

I'm very interested in Fairy Tales, and fairy-tale-esque things. I'd like to shoot anything that could possibly be shoved into the oversized cedar chest of that so-called genre.

As a former fashion design major and an eternal fashion design enthusiast/self-taught student/etc, I have a large wardrobe from which to draw if the need/desire arises. I also sew quite well, and can create garments from scratch, alter, enhance, and mend. I work on a fantastic aged Bernina.

Right now I work with a Sony Cybershot DSC-S730. It's not fantastic, and I'm saving up for a Nikon D90, but it does almost everything I need it to, and I can always get what I want out of it if the light is good.

I shoot with natural light.
I do edits myself, but you are welcome to do your own.
