Fran Freeman was born the third of six children, her father owned and operated a barber shop in Richmond Hills, Queens, New York. Hair cutting was her fathers lively hood and quickly became Ms. Freeman's passion. At the young age of six - she cut her first clients hair.

Having traveled the country designing hair and make-up (* Male and female) for various clientele Ms. Freeman's hair designs have made the pages of Ebony, Interview and Nylon Magazine. She currently resides in Hells Kitchen, New York, NY and designs hair at Rueben's The Beauty Specialist at 65 W37th Street. She has worked in numerous Manhattan salons and is currently taking her business to the next level.
