Hello People,
My name's Melissa I've been hairdressing for 8 years. Qualified for 4 years, I started my carrier in London doing an apprentership at Vidal Sassoon and qualified as a stylist.

I am currently looking for models for a very important event within the hairdressing industry. Its called Trend Vision organised by Wella, its a competition for young hairdressers who want to show off there creative side. This will commence as of next year. For a year and a half I've been working for a fantastic Team called 'Avant Garde'. Avant Garde has opened many doors for me, I'm currently teaching Level 1 NVQ Hairdressing, and working towards my teaching qualification. I also want to become a Creative Director within the company and to have participated in Trend Vision or 'WIN' in the finals would mean so much to me. This will give me more experience and knowledge that will help me within my carrier to become a Creative director.

What I am asking for is a few good hours of your time to cut and colour your hair, possibly your time on a Sunday for a photo shoot, if I get through to the semi finals I would kindly need you for that, and maybe for the finals if I get through.

Money wise I have to fund make up/Artist, photographer, and clothes. I won't be able to pay. But you will be getting your hair cut and coloured for free, and would compromise a deal with you as you've put time into me. So you can get a few freebies from myself in the future to help you within your carrier.

Also the most important thing for you to take into consideration is I will need you to be open to having length of your hair shortened and colour changed. I will stress I will only do this to someone who has the right face shape and skin tone. So I am looking for someone specific.
