Juan Sanchez Diaz (JSD) is a multi dimensional fine artist who is also a Anthropology research consultant specializing in ceremonial art with an emphasis in shamanic studies. He has been invited to both speak and exhibit at: Burgamont Station, UC Irvine, Long Beach City College, The Jean Autry Museum, The Brewery Art Walk, The Long Beach Green Festival, Made in LA; Hammer Museum.

The Makeup artistry of Juan Sanchez Diaz (JSD) is second to none, he "tells stories" with makeup and has worked with some of the worlds top international runway models such as Erin Grayson, Marlinda Rivera,lauren Hodges ,krystle Saquia Gardner, and more....

Juan Sanchez Diaz (JSD )has a heavy influence of Urban Sociology tied into his variety of fine art work. Urban sociology is the sociological study of social life and human interaction in metropolitan areas. It is a normative discipline of sociology seeking to study the structures, processes, changes and problems of an urban area and by doing so providing inputs for planning and policy making.

JSD is heavily inspired by the sacred beauty and space that make up The Pūjā; or alternative transliteration Pooja, (Devanagari: पूजा) (Sanskrit:reverence, honour, adoration, or worship) is a religious ritual performed by pujari as an offering to various deities, distinguished persons, or special guests. It is done on a variety of occasions and settings, from daily puja done in the home, to temple ceremonies and large festivals, or to begin a new venture WEDDINGS FUNERALS AND BIRTHS. The puja ritual is worldwide. Various poojas are performed at various times of the day and on various occasions.
