Artistry defines us all in some way. Some embrace it wholeheartedly while others prefer to deny or conceal its impact on them. My balance is somewhere in the middle of these two extremes, and I am striving to use Model Mayhem as an outlet to help me embrace the artistry of life more fully by networking and collaborating with beautiful souls on here.
Photography is a passion of mine: an outlet for my creativity and artistry to be expressed. I do not depend upon it for my primary source of income, so I tend to be pretty picky about the shoots I will take on. That being said, if I message you directly, I genuinely want to work with you, and while it may take some time to work out scheduling details around "real life", I will do what it takes to make it happen.
I only work for trade currently - prefering to work with others who are more passionate about the images we create than just the compensation to be had. While frugal with my shooting budget, I am not a miser, and I am happy to provide transportation or other compensation a model may incur while working on a project with me.
If you fancy yourself an artist and interested in creating something memorable together, please do contact me. I will reply to every contact personally, eventually, so please be patient with me! Email is the best mechanism:

Currently, I am looking to completely rebuild my portfolio from the ground up. I am very interested in getting a more artistic feel throughout my images here, pulling away from the classic portraiture that is my primary experience. If you have unique ideas you'd like to capture, feel free to reach out to me to help realize them.
As for nudes, I do appreciate them, and I'm all for shooting artistic nudes and implied, but I want to keep my portfolio away from erotic and overtly sexual content - while I appreciate them and think they have a place, they're not for me. I'd rather shoot the artistic and natural beauty than sensual expression for my own book. With that being said, I must share an absolutely beautiful project by a wonderful photographer in North Carolina that has recently come to my attention:
The Embody Project (http://www.embodyproject.com)
If you are interested in this type of natural expression, definitely let me know, and we'll see what inspiration we can pull from the idea.
Thanks for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you!
