Not born of the modeling world, but adopted into it.

My work to date has been to capture the spirit living deep inside machinery (finding the soul of an aircraft, for example). Now in a search for the meaning of the spirit itself, I look to capture the machinery of the Body.

Step One has been the exploration of the surface : the Skin as a collector of light, the Hair as a diffuser of dark, the edge between Body and Not Body.

Now we add a thread: get close. Find the point where the image is a pure graphic and the Human element, the Spirit is deep within... like the heart of a machine.
