I am a photographer in Fairfax, Virginia, a suburb of Washington DC. I travel to locations in other parts of Virginia and nearby states (MD, DC, NY, NJ, PA, DE, NC, CT, SC, WV, and GA) for interesting projects or opportunities. I mostly shoot digital, but may shoot film if I feel the project would be enhanced by film.

I enjoy photography, and am always interested in "trying something new." I believe we all learn through experimentation, and I know I certainly do! I have many creative ideas, with many ideas waiting for time and a model to be fulfilled.

I do all kinds of studio and location photography and am open to almost anything artistic.  In addition to model photography, I enjoy wedding photography, photojournalistic photography, convention and event photography, and commercial work.  For many years I was a staff photographer for an Anime convention, mainly photographing back stage, stage events, dances, and low-light events.

I am always looking for paid assignments.

I have two book projects underway.  I'm still collecting images for the second project.

And yes, I realize I haven't updated the images in my MM portfolio in many years (LOL).

Models are encouraged to bring a chaperone/escort if that makes them more comfortable. I prefer the chaperone/escort to be of the same gender as the model. Having heard many horror stories from models, I expect and encourage potential models to check references.

In late 2011 I had a bad fall followed by additional injuries that made photography more difficult, but as of June 2021 I've recovered sufficiently to resume photography.
