It seems I've been behind a camera most of my life. I’ve worked with homemade 110 pinhole, 35mm analog, Polaroid, toy cameras, point and shoot, and DSLR cameras; among others. My late grandfather was a major influence in this respect and gave me the "photo-bug" when I was younger that never faded. His collection of cameras, lenses, and his own incredible photographs were always a source of fascination and inspiration. One of my favorite aspects of photography is how a single image can capture powerful emotions, suspend them in time, and reawaken those intense feelings when viewed over and yet again. I’m fascinated how photographs alone can communicate stories, offer windows into the past, assess everyday life, and expose the human condition.
