Hi! I'm a published photographer based in the Boston area, but I spend many weekends in NYC and am willing to travel extensively for the right project. I rely on paid work to earn a living, but I accept unique trade work when I feel that it will greatly benefit my portfolio. I have been told that I am extremely fun, flexible, and easy to work with, and that I treat models as individuals with whom to collaborate rather than merely pretty faces or bodies to pose. I also make a point of getting edits back within a week, which always leads to ecstatic collaborators and clients. Feel free to check out my website at http://www.racheltinephotography.com/, my extensive model portfolio at http://racheltinephotography.smugmug.com/Prints/Portraits/, and a wide range of my work at https://plus.google.com/u/0/+RachelTine/posts.
It should be noted that, although I want to dive into some true fashion shoots, my art shoots are almost always implied, as I feel that clothing tends to tell its own story that often detracts from the story that I am hoping to tell. Although I love trying new things, I am very particular about what kind of art interests me; in other words, I work with people whose ports indicate that our collaboration will inevitably lead to stunning art. I currently have no interest in explicit or glamour shoots, unless the pay is great or you can convince me of the art at the end of the tunnel.
It should also be noted that, although I love creating for the sake of creating, I am a perfectionist with big dreams, so I frequently submit my work to magazines, galleries, etc., and because I have immense respect and appreciation for the models that I work with, I make a point of crediting them whenever my work is featured or shared, so I insist on having a model release on file for everyone that I work with.
Last but not least, although I spend very little time on Model Mayhem, references are always available upon request. :)
