My name is Michael J Moores if you want to be formal, but most call me Mike. I have been photographing since I was in primary school and am currently enrolled in a school of digital photography/ I still find a deep curiosity stirred up from the witness or creation of the extraordinarily moving; I feel the need to capture it in time forever. I have always enjoyed polar opposites in regards to my body of work, from the embodiment of warmth felt nature, to the darker more emotionally questioning work. My reasoning is within the very heart of existence, where there is light, life and beauty and the contradictory darkness, death and decay; being able to express those two different sides with weight and emotional distinction with a few cases of the two sides fusing
