About Me

Life is full of decisions and consequences surrounding our choices as what we do today effects tomorrow. In many instances people make excuses for the behaviors and lifestyles they make for themselves. I know, as I was one of them letting everything take the place of myself. Focusing on negative comments and influences drug me down a path I do not think anyone should follow. Being a mother of two, having school and little to no time for myself left me feeling stressed, helpless and without an identity.

December 2010 was my breaking point was getting married to the man of my dreams in the body of my nightmares. Focusing on my flaws started to deteriorate me from the inside out. I was imploding, as my self-image had become an anxiety attack every morning when getting dressed or going out. My self-esteem followed in par as I had let myself go. After that summer I realized something needed to change and I wanted myself back.

November 2011 I started attending a gym and began a diet that I assumed was healthy. After five months I had fallen in love with the gym, as it became my escape from the stress in my life. I began to subscribe to many fitness related magazines and blogs seeking to educate myself as I had become inspired to do more than lose a few pounds and inches. I set a goal of competing in a figure competition. At that point I felt that I was starting at rock bottom, as I had no support from anyone. Just critics. In the past I would let peoples opinions weigh down my ideas and dreams, however I used the negativity as a fuel, fuel to ignite a raging fire of motivation to overcome my past and future barriers in becoming titanium.

Through the year I changed my eating and workout habits to obtain milestones that I never knew were possible. In addition, to changing my body, the internal me is someone I have grown to love and have a new outlook on life.
I am still on my journey to reach the stage and look forward to what 2013 will bring.
