A little about myself...

My name is Sandy and I am a freelance MUA based in Central NJ. Ever since I was a little girl, I was always fascinated with makeup, hair, and simply anything beautiful. I started practicing actual makeup application in high school, when I was 16 y/o. It started with just a hobby, where I had the opportunity to do family members' makeup, hair, and even eyebrows. I got many compliments on my work and was always encouraged to pursue this as a career, although I still felt that I was not "good enough". With that said, and after many years, I finally decided to give my dreams a chance and make a career out of my so-called "hobby" for many years! Now that I am a professional in the field of psychology, I feel more ready than ever to pursue my real dream of cosmetology!

My style...

I am always open to new trials and experiences!!! At this time, I would say that I am really passionate about enhancing one's own natural beauty! Bridal makeup is what really attracts me--I believe that every woman is beautiful in her own way and makeup is something that will allow this to show even further! But don't be fooled... I also consider myself risky and adventurous!!! I will create the extraordinary look you're looking for :)

My goal...

I am hoping that by joining Model Mayhem I will be able to network with other professionals in the field, gain more experience, and build my career as a professional MUA. I am new to the professional makeup industry, but definitely not new to makeup application :). I am a very quick learner and always eager to try new things.
