I have spent most of my life surrounded by the arts. My mother has been a dance teacher all of her professional career, teaching tap, jazz, ballet, and hip-hop, and because of that, I have been in dance classes since the age of two. I, too, have studied tap, jazz, ballet, and hip-hop as well as lyrical, and modern for almost my whole life. I have had the distinct privilege of being in the Chicago Thanksgiving day parade as well as the Capital One Bowl Half-Time show at a very young age.

As someone who greatly valued an arts based education, she had me take voice lessons with private teachers, as well as improv classes downtown at the Annoyance Theater. I learned a great deal both from my mother, and just by watching her. My mother is a successful plus size model and actress, and I have learned a lot about skin care by watching her apply make up, watching her pose, and by her taking me on shoots with her when there was opportunity to do so. It has served as a great inspiration in my life. Now I feel as though she is passing the proverbial baton to me.

I look forward to spreading my wings and seeing what I feel most comfortable doing as a performer, and which type of artist I really want to be. I look forward to working with so many of you. Thank you for reading my profile, I look forward to meeting and working in the future!
