Graduate of Philadelphia U of the Art, Academy of fine arts studied there as well. I paint, work in pastels, and do photographs. My main endeavor has been to paint but now I am finding working with my camera very exciting and getting to results that has taken so long to do in paint. What I do is photograph my image first and then paint form the picture, adding and subtracting where it is necessary. The camera is a great tool for this approach, especially in figurative, landscape and still life painting. Lately I worked the figurative photographs digitally with artistic manipulations that have been an artistic end to them selves. I hope to work more with models and this is why I am interested in Model Mayhem.
