Sony Omar also known as Yufeh E K went to Saint Augustine Nso and did a year and he later on moved to Sacred Heart college Mankon where he had his advanced level. He read A4(Geo, Econs and Math),While in college, this kid was not only smart when it came to bookwork but he left a record for the all-time marathon runner who ever pass via Sacred Heart college Mankon Sony Omar was Born in August 31 1991 in Bamenda . His mother was a court register.His father a business tycoon.



In 2008, at the age of 18 he was admitted into the university of Buea, where he read banking and finance. While in the university Sony Omar MC'ed in university" nites" and night clubs. He continued Club Mc while he toured Night clubs around the country. He opened for Lino Versace And Mulukuku Dj in a concert in Buea.
At the age of 20 he also started building his modeling career while in Buea.
He further went on into acting , he caught the attention of some of a Cameroonian movie directors and movie producers. He had first role in the movie ''Jungle of Hire'' staring Jim Iyke directed by Neba Lawrence Nforlem .He also acted in the following movies
-"Decoded" staring Van Vicker"
-"The Bara Extravaganza show"

In 2012 at his final year in the university, He worked as a TV host at CMTV and he was called upon to host Jovi's album launch along-side Tito Marley the celebrity TV Host , at CNPS in Buea with over 5000 people .From there he toured around Cameroon with Jovi. After that tour , In 2013 he was signed to February 16th Pictures as an Actor and a Model.
