"Memories are treasures that time cannot take away."
This quote accurately defines my belief about photography. I received my first camera at the age of thirteen and have used the art of photography to chronicle memories of my own, as well as of those around me. Early subjects were family, friends and just about anyone I cold persuade to stand still.

Today, the interest, hobby and passion has evolved significantly. i have received formal training from some of Virginia's best photography instructors and educators. Among them were Chuck Thomas, Sam Hughes and Craig McClure. I have attended photography seminars of Sandy Puc and Ed Pierce. Recently, I attended a hands-on workshop in Los Angeles, CA where students were able to photograph actors with Kawai Matthews.

I love to photograph people, capturing their personalities, character and wisdom. When you view an image from Anita Pearson Photography, you will experience the essence and spirit of the subjects, and I hope, my passion for bringing them to light. Through Model Mayhem, I am looking forward to sharing my passion for photography and fashion with "you".
