I grew up in a family of artists, and became interested in photography when I was old enough as a teen to be able to handle my father's Pentax. He continually scolded me for using up all the film on the roll and I haven't stopped taking pictures since. I finally got my own Pentax and when Digital DSLR's became available I really became serious as a Photographer, because I didn't have to worry about using up all the film, finally! I have a BFA from MICA in Baltimore where I took photography courses. I now sell prints of my work at The Art Gallery of Fells Point in Baltimore. I have been successful in the past as a portrait painter, and now I am interested in portrait photography. I feel my unique background allows me to "paint" digital touchups on a photo so that it meets my artistic requirements, while maintaining realism.
