I'm never any good at these. Let's see. I was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona where I still live. I grew up wearing weird things and dressing up in my mom's clothes and jewelry. When I was little I would draw outfits from Grease and The Nanny and the Spice Girls to occupy my time between watching music videos and socializing too much at school. Fashion has always been such an obvious part of my life that it took changing my major in college three times before I finally landed on it! I got an associate of arts at Chandler/Gilbert Community College in 2009, and an associates in fashion design and a certificate in costume design at Mesa Community College in 2013. I've worked at Hot Topic for three and a half years, it's given me loads of experience and knowledge for what I want to do with my life, and it inspires me constantly. I get my other inspiration from punk rock, Lady Gaga, hippies, Alexander McQueen, Betsey Johnson, Audrey Kitching, Andy Warhol, the 80s, and a lack of money. My dream is to someday own my own store here in Arizona called Haus of Hope full of things I've made. I want to do fashion for the rest of my life. Fashion excites me and liberates me. It makes me feel fearless. Fashion is forever.
