I'm the stylist (or as I like to call myself the "goddess of client services") for an up-and-coming portrait studio in the Tampa Bay area. I had a bit of trouble deciding how to categorize myself, because I actually wear a lot of hats - I'm also the photoshop wizard, graphic designer, etc - but I thought my input as wardrobe stylist was probably the most obviously visible part of our photos.

I don't have a HUGE amount of experience as a pro (yet) but I do go way back; I majored in technical theatre/costume design at a fine arts magnet back in high school and the range of occupations I've pursued since then has included things such as designing jewelry & hair ornaments and a couple of years spent doing professional male-to-female transformations for crossdressers. (There I combined makeup, wardrobe AND photography!) I guess I've always been in love with the art of decorating the human body. Fabric, gems, paints and feathers, flowers and furs and even metals - the possibilities are so endless.

I've come to Model Mayhem now in the hopes of meeting other local artists with whom I might exchange ideas & inspiration and possibly work on collaborative personal projects I'm cooking up for the future. I have some exciting ideas about combining glamour-type portraiture with epic fantasy styling that integrates photoshop composite wizardry and the beauty of our local natural landscapes. Not looking for paid assignments so much as networking with other local models and artists.
