About Me

Anjola Toro was born and raised in the south of Albania. Anjola works as a freelance photographer based in New York City. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in English Literature from CUNY Hunter College and a Master's Degree of Professional Studies in Digital Photography from the School of Visual Arts.

Anjola has received publication from Dance Magazine, Culturebot, Arts Journal and the Staten Island Advance. She has worked as a photo manager and behind the scenes photographer for MTV & VH1 Networks as well as production coordinator for Saatchi & Saatchi. Her work explores domestic and marital relationships as well as interpersonal perceptions of identity in comparison to how these perceptions conceal the reality or illusions of an individual.
