I have always known what I was destined to be, an artist. I have been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. Throughout my teen years I excelled in my art classes and numerous competitions, and upon graduation from high school I found myself attending the illustrious Hampton University. I completed my matriculation through Hampton and graduated with a B.A. in Comprehensive Art. Though all my years of education have proved to serve me well, my senior year stands out. It was that year I discovered Photorealism – a delicate painting technique where fluid paint strokes are used to make the painting look like a photograph.
Being born of the computer generation I have taken this style of painting into the 21st Century. Blending Photorealism with my own unique artistry, and utilizing Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, I have created my very own style of Digital Airbrushing. The merging of classic artistic technique with modern technology allows me to create works with such detail and clarity that they seem to jump off the page. My artwork covers a vast range of subjects including sensuality, spirituality, fantasy and searing social commentary.
