I have been a photography enthusiast since about the 1990s. However, became a serious photographer in 2011. I completed the certificate course in 'Applied Photography' at the Photographic Society of Sri Lanka (PSSL) in 2011/2012. Also, followed the diploma course in Photography at the Academy Of Design (AOD) - Colombo in 2012/2013. I am mostly a 'self educated' and 'self-styled' photographer, with a passion for 'street photography'. My fields of speciality is in EDITORIAL, FASHION, ADVERTISING and FINE-ARTS photography. With over 30,000 successful photographs under my belt, I have passed the stage of being a photography enthusiast, however I believe I need to do more to become a professional photographer. Almost always, I depend on available light for my photographs and use artificial lighting only as a last resort. I confess that, I am an 'unconventional' photographer; ready to go 'off-the-beaten-path' in experimenting new techniques in 'making' photographs rather than 'taking' photographs. I am confident that, I can create opportunities for amateur 'models' in their pursuit of a 'modelling' career, through professional 'Model Portfolios'.
