Lisa Labella a Native Detroiter, has graced the stage
of the modeling, acting and entertainment sector for over 10 years. From her unique catwalk, to her versatile looks, and her courage and determination to persue over 4 different careers, Labella has made her mark in Michigan as being one of the most gifted and versatile women in the industry. From her newest venture as a Singer/songwriter, to modeling in over 100 runway shows on all the major stages in the Michigan area such as Detroit Fashion Week, Reality Star and Host David Tutera of “David Tuteras’ Bridal Extravaganza” and North American International Auto Show to name a few, as well acting in over 14 major motion film projects such as “Reel Steel” with Hugh Jackman, “Sparkle” featuring Whitney Houston and Jordan Sparks, “Eight Mile” with Eminem featuring Mikhai Pheifer, amongst many others as a stand-in and featured role actress. Labella also participated in the core group working on the set of a previous sitcom titled, "Detroit 187” for one full season and a plethera of other projects that are too many to name. Lisa Labella has also played lead roles for major stage plays that have had previous tours including "Perilous Times" with T.J Hemphill, Angela Dunlap with "Church Girl", And Colored Girls written by Sean P. Williams and produced by Detroit’s own Radio Host Frankie Darcell of Mix 92.3 FM radio. Lisa Labella started her singing roots in the church and performed in several events in the Metro Detroit area. Ms. Labella has traveled and have shared the stage with Mary Mary, Kirk Franklin, Kjon, Pastor Marvin L. Winans, and Lady Gagas’ Music Director Kern Brantley to name a few. Ms. Labellas’ recent project includes a recording production with Detroits’ own International Gospel Recording Artist Sean Hardin, and Gospel sensation Deitrick Haddon, whose also a Reality Star of “Real Preachers of LA.” Lisa Labella is recording her forthcoming project and has been given many platforms to showcase her talent. Some of performances include: Arts Beats and Eats, Ribs and Soul Fest, Dally in the Alley and Atlanta Music Conference which she has performed for and attended two consecutive years and several other productions. Each event have well attendances of 75,000 or more where Lisa Labella has performed and have been featured as a solo artist. Lisa Labella has produced and choreographed several events and concerts and has even written and co produced her own songs. Not only has Lisa Labella hosted several events as a Spokes-model, she was also a Co- Host for the GP Morning Show (God's Perspective) on am 1340 WMUZ, The Gospel Station. After five consecutive years of being a runway model, Ms. Labella decided to take her career to the next level. Lisa Labella’s newest venture is launching her new design line "Lisa Labella Collection in which she has done her first show titled, "Status". Ms. Labella’s designs were so impressive that she was asked to participate in New York Fashion Week in February of 2015. Lisa Labella’s goal is not wealth and fame, but desires to use her gifts to impact the world. Ms. Labella’s desire and passion has always been to reach back to the community. She began teaching modeling courses in the Detroit Public School System, as well developing an eight week curriculum for after school programs stressing the importance of confidence, self esteem, leadership, individuality, and modeling techniques. Lisa Labella has also developed her own productions showcasing talent for the children within the schools teaching dance choreography which included dance styles such as modern, hip hop and jazz, as well put together her own chorale teaching African songs and hymnals. Lisa Labella has also worked consecutively with Rap Legend and Reality Star Yo-Yo, assisting with Yo-Yo School of Hip Hop for the youth. There she taught music and opened up Yo-Yo's concert for the children singing the Star Spangled Banner.
