After looking at numerous profiles, I see that many have compiled lists that either describe themselves or their acceptable conditions of work. So I thought I'd compile mine:

1.  I've read your profile and I don't want to date you either so we're all good on that front. But that doesn't mean I'm not a Guy with a Camera or a Pervert with a Camera - I am. That's why I want to capture your beauty.  If I was not a red-blooded, hetero male who loved and adored the female form, I would not be taking pictures of you, I would be taking photographs of insects or parking meters.  But if a client wants photographs of insects and parking meters, I will take them as I am also a whore.

2. I come from the filmmaking world where an actor sometimes has to go to 2 or 3 auditions before they get the job.  I've come to learn that some models violently protest the idea having a phone conversation let alone coming in for a casting session.  I understand that modeling isn't acting, but I don't think a 5 minute phone call to discuss the shoot is asking too much. If you feel it is, I'm sure you could get a better phone plan that includes more minutes.

3.  If you agree to do a shoot and then for some reason - any reason - you can't or don't want to do it anymore, for God sakes please have the decency to lie to me. Lying is a part of being a professional and being an adult.  It's done all the time and is accepted as a common business practice: "I'd love to do the shoot but I have a scheduling conflict...", "Your project sounds amazing but I just don't think it's right for me...", "I totally forgot about my meeting with the Pope tomorrow, sorry...".  Saying you're going to do something and then flaking and not responding to any further messages when someone is trying to schedule something is for amateurs.  Please lie to me, that's the only way you'll gain my respect.

4. I'm more fartsy than artsy (please see below for further clarification).

5. The things that are generally considered to be the most useful in life I think are the most useless, while the most useless things are the most useful.  I excel in useless pursuits.  If you'd like to wallow in some unabated useless folly for a few hours, I'd love to shoot with you!
