Life on Mars is a conceptual, collaborative, underground art project led by Philly artist KCMDR. Life on Mars/The Mars Collection currently has a call out for FEMALE MODELS (we call 'em Mars Girls!).

Be versatile, positive, interested in working with different kinds of artists.
We would prefer to find a female model who wants to be one of the faces of The Mars Collection - our girls get a lot of love!

Most of the models photographed for The Mars Collection are photographed holding lit or unlit cigarettes or cigarette packs. The early parts of the project are made to look like cigarette advertisements from the 50's on Earth all the way to Mars. Models don't need to be smokers, just okay with being around the products.

The photographs taken range anywhere from hour-set-up still life shots to snapshots of Mars Kids doing their daily thing (sometimes we use a Cannon, sometimes we use our smarthphone cameras). Most shoots are produced and directed by female Philly artist Karlyn Clare of KCMDR. Photos will RARELY be used raw - the ones we like will be edited digitally, collaged, or used as a reference for large acrylic portraits as the collection continues to grow.

There are no contracts signed and no pay is offered. We trust our girls truly want to dedicate a part of themselves to The Mars Collection, and we want to return the favor by providing you with quality portfolio shots, a Life on Mars street team package, and an opportunity that's out of this world.
