I usually take scenic photos at night because for me it helps add to the magic that digital has taken away from photography. In the days when I used film, I was always wondering "did I get the shot? Will it come out right?" With daytime digital, its point, click, check, "yep I got it". Night photography also means that I can control the light precisely how I want it, not how the sun and time of day dictates. I mainly use torch "flash light" and off camera flash with coloured gells. these are always hand held.

I studied photography and graduated with a B.A.(Hons) degree in 2009 since then I have been a wedding photographer, but I did not enjoy it at all. I have been photographing scenery at night and carry out the occasional portrait shoot. I am keen to extend my experience and portfolio as much as possible.
