About Me

My name is Alvin Collantes. I am a dance artist, freelance teacher/choreographer and photographer.

I delved into photography back in 2012, interning for a Fashion PR Agency in New York. Being a dance artist, I understand movement and cordially found the synergy between movement and film. I then ventured off to shoot portraits, headshots and movement photography for dancers. As my work developed, I found myself being interested in shooting lifestyle and intimate portraits. This current path has given me inspiration to continue to develop my work and collaborate with fellow artists in the field.

I love collaborating, whether it is to develop portfolios or diving into creative process. I am still learning and would love to push my artistic voice with like minded friends.
