Experienced Photographer, and Portrait workshop instructor, I am an on-location, natural and created light photographer serving the Middle Penisula of Virginia and Chesapeake Bay areas. Experienced as a portrait, wedding and lifestyle photographer. I enjoy photographing model, family, equine subjects and doing Marine or Nautical themed photographic assignments and shoots.

I am a naturalist at heart and prefer to capture organic images rather than stuffy traditional poses. My style is a casual blend of lifestyle and what I call "posed candids". In other words, I'll sometimes position my subject in the best light that will then capture their mood, personality and candid interactions.
Clients have said that they like my approach on the modern portrait and the way I captured their “heart and soul”.

I offer Urban, Farm, Park, Beach, River and Lake sessions or your own setting that best portrays your interest and lifestyle.

With advance notice, I also offer local sessions that incorporate Maritime Vessel Environments, both underway or docked. These sessions have been especially popular with Engagement Couples who want something different than the normal Outside or Park Setting.

I am always conducting ongoing self-assignments to build my own experience, portfolio and commercial presence.
These projects offer a Secure, Respectful and Mature experience that can provide emerging models a chance to expand their portfolio and experience at little or no cost to themselves. Time For Print inquiries are encouraged.
