I am very enthusiastic and passionate about the fashion industry and the creative work involved. I have had a number of work experiences in various roles as a make-up artist. I am drawn towards pursuing a career within fashion as I find the work challenging yet rewarding.
My work experience includes numerous editorial photo shoots including some for fashion students, professional photographers and brands. I have also touched on other genres such as film and music videos.
I have excellent time management skills which I believe is a crucial part of being a professional. As a make-up artist I am a perfectionist, I have an excellent attention to detail and I take pride in creating amazing, creative work. Coming from an art background with a diploma in Art Foundation, I use my creativity heavily in my work, whether it be designing a look or experimenting with colour. I follow the current make-up trends and artists, I also love to watch fashion shows, all of which influences my current make-up techniques.
By completing a university degree I have gained the skills to work at a high standard with and without guidance and within tight deadlines. I heavily pride myself on my extensive research skills which earned me high marks in University projects.
