Maria was born and raised in Boston, MA. Prior to joining the beauty industry, she majored in Communications at Boston College. However, shortly after she graduated in May 2011, Maria followed her passion and enrolled in at Empire Beauty School. She had no idea the exciting roller coaster that she had embarked on to take her into the next chapter of her life! After completing her program at Empire she landed a job on Newbury St at James Joseph Salon. She worked there for 3+ years, completing their intensive training program and learned valuable skills on the floor. In 2014, she joined up with the product develop team at Living Proof as their salon stylist in the corporate head quarters. Her passion and talents have developed beyond hair and into makeup and general beauty.

Over the past half decade, Maria has worked towards specializing in special occasion hair and make up over the past years, beautifying women for their weddings, events, etc.

And Maria has not stopped yet! In 2015, She took a big leap, left her 3 jobs and headed to the big apple! She is currently enrolled in the Masters program at Make-Up School of Designory in New York City where is she receiving a broad range of traditional training from basic beauty to special effects. Her pending graduation date is May 2016.​
