I've been assisting for over a decade, and now it's time I tried to step behind the camera. I'm interested in learning to take quality images, and what it takes to build them. While assisting with professional models, I didn't realize how difficult it can be to work with people who may not know how to project themselves into the lens. As I continue to practice, I not only will learn lighting techniques, but how to interact with models so that they feel comfortable both with me, and the camera. I will shoot just about anything, a new situation will force me out of a comfort zone, and into a new lesson.
