Artist/ painter
John Rowe was born in Pasadena, Califorinia a suburb of Los angeles. He studied at Cal State Los angeles and holds a dregree from Art Center College of Design. He worked on 5th Avenue as an Art Director for major cororate accounts after graduation.

John was an illustrator for over twenty years and has created original artwork for countless book covers for the classic book series The Black Stallion and Margerette Henery and the Phantom Stallion. His corporate clients include United Nations, Disney, National Geographic, United Airlines, Samsung, The Library of Congress, The acadamy of Motion Pictures and many more. He is the past President of the Society of Illustrators in Loa Angeles, and a member of the Califoria Art Club. John has been an instructor at Art Center College of Design, Glendale College and an Artist in residence in for the La Canada School system. He has traveled extensivly as a guest artist aboard Disney Cruise Line, Celerrity Cruise Line and Norweiregen Cruise Line selling, speaking and creating artwork live in front of as many as four hundred people at a time. He has been a featured artist at Disney and Pixar fine art events and been interviewed on TV and radio.

John’s love of painting the human figure has lead him to create an original body of work featuring life sized figures entitled The Five Seasons as well as many other penitrating and profoundly thoughtful paintings.
