I developed my interest in photography as a child. The ability to capture a moment in time will always fascinate me. I started out as a newspaper photographer for a daily newspaper, and graduated to a large weekly. I spent many days in darkrooms with my hands in chemicals trying to an image just right. I still use those same principles with Photoshop, and am glad to say that the smell improved. While I am primarily a news photographer, I developed an interest in "art" photography, and now offer portfolio shoots when I am not out capturing the news. Occasionally the two converge, when I cover a show.
