Tim is an accomplished studio, location, portrait and still life photographer with experience retouching at a high level.

His 15 years of professional experience is backed up with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Art and Advanced Diploma in photography. He initially worked as a full time portrait retoucher before shifting to freelance work in the technically challenging field of automotive retouching on marketing and advertising campaigns. During this time he also assisted commercial photographers on shoots including fashion, product and architecture to name a few. But it was as a retoucher that he found the most prestigious work locally and internationally in Asia and the Middle East.

Witnessing an industry shift towards computer generated imagery and with a desire to spend less time at the computer and more with a camera, Tim pivoted to primarily photographing people. This led him to shoot 6 assignments abroad for Oxfam, cover events like the Melbourne Writers Festival year on year and generate photographic assets for hundreds of companies and arts organisations in and around Melbourne.
