About Me

I am an amateur photographer, particularly interested in portrait photography. I travel a lot, and I use this opportunity to take photos of people from around the world. I am fascinated by human faces and their variety. Most often I just approach people on the street, and usually they agree for my taking a picture. I also like to take candid street portraits, as well as environmental portraits. My objective is to show the personality of the model, create a psychological portrait. I tend not to retouch the pictures I take in order to show people as they are. My motto is "beauty is truth, truth beauty" (Keats).
By joining the Model Mayhem community I hope to be able to meet interesting models from countries I am visiting. Each person I take a portrait of represents a new experience, and I like the contact that is being established during the photo-session. I believe that by being part of the Model Mayhem community I will enhance my photographic experience.
