Kevin Pranaitis’ appetite for photography began over 16 years ago with his Pentex K-1000, 50mm f/1.7, and Ilford 125 film. He developed a fascination for capturing what he thinks is overlooked, underappreciated, or forgotten. Kevin’s prints showcase the beauty and depth in the very simple.

Whether it is a window, a tree, or the humility of a priest’s worn hands, Kevin freezes moments that causes him to reflect on the subject and how it relates to his own life’s experiences.

He would love a career in photography, however probably post-kids. He does commercial & advertising shoots as well as artistic compositions.

I am here to build my portfolio with model shoots. I am interested in strong emotion, contrast, and nuance....and black and white. I tolerate color -- let's put it that way. Monochrome simplifies and brings out the beauty.
