A few years ago I began studying figure drawing and studio portraiture. For the past year I have been finding ways to combine the two disciplines and began photographing models focusing on the figure. I have doing figure photography in nature, indoors using natural light and in the studio using strobes.
Before photographing models, my main focus was travel and street photography, primarily photographing people, landscapes, cityscapes and monuments. While traveling, I focus my photography on monuments that reflect spirituality and religion, as found in Asia and Europe. I also have experience shooting portraits at cosplay events.
My goals are to continue doing figure photography both with natural light in the in the studio. I would like to do more outside in a variety of environments and in the studio. I am hoping to learn fashion photography both outdoors and in the studio learning how to present fashion a variety of ambiances.
I am joining model mayhem to learn what other photographers are doing, show my work and communicate with models about new ideas and artistic collaborations.
