A clarior umbra stands for `a brighter shadow` in latin. I chose this as a name for my work after the saying `in the land of the blind, the half-eyed is king`as it is meant to show my self-confident, yet humble and open minded attitude towards the art that is photography.

With every session I am doing, I strive to take an out-of-the-box approach, forcing myself and the ones around me to learn something new, not necessarily connected in any way to taking pictures. This is also a great excuse, to set things on fire once in a while...

I use traditional small and medium format cameras, polaroid cameras, the camera of my phone, as well as modern, digital ones, depending on what is most suiting for the project at hand. One of my favorites is a still functioning, 65 year old TLR, film camera.

In my opinion, a picture is nothing without a story or a person behind it, to give us, humans something to relate to and therefore be affected by a certain feeling or emotion, that is why I am always forming a connection to my subjects, be that a creative and interesting musician or a luke-warm hamburger.

I became a member on this site, hoping to meet like-minded, creative people to collaborate with, not just to build a portfolio for all of us, bu alsot to learn, inspire, grow and connect with each other, while doing what we love the most.

I am based in Oslo, but originally am from Hungary.
