I'm an illustrator based in Apex, North Carolina. I've worked for more than a decade in film, games and print. My tools include digital and natural media.

Most of my career has been spent on the west coast, split between Seattle and Los Angles. My wife and I returned to Raleigh in 2015 so we could raise our two kids close to family.

I use photography as a reference tool in the process of illustration. Before hiring a model I generate a sketch to explore poses and costuming. A model's likeness is generally lost in translation to paint.

My clients include Warner Bros., 20th Century Fox, Disney, Paramount, Bungie, Blizzard, National Geographic, and Penguin books.
