Thank you for viewing my page here on Model Mayhem. I have been a member for many years. I have always found I have the freedom to share any of my work as well as be enriched by the diversity of friends and art I have been exposed to.
This is an introduction of sorts - you can ask me anything that may come to mind. I am always seeking models to work with as well as new places to visit. I enjoy road trips to neighboring states, NYC, Virginia, West Virginia etc. and we can surely get some shoots under our belts.

Starting as an engineer I became a military photographer for the USN in conflict zones and also worked on images to send back home so my Mom and Dad could see what I was up to. Sharing with my family is what drove me to get better as a photographer so that every time they saw a picture I took it was fresh and new. What drove me to become a professional was an image I took in the Persian Gulf War of a sunset - my first and last sunset photograph.
The Germain School of Photography was where I formally studied when I returned to NYC after which I was hired at a black and white professional lab and stayed there for 10 years. It was my dream job as I could work on negatives and learn the science of photography better while still working with my clients - live bands and such - on my night time hours.
I presently am a freelance photographer. I work with families, individuals (models, actors and non-models as well) and companies who purchase my photographs for their walls or as gifts. I also photograph said people for their various needs be they private, family or portfolio - even just to have a great online profile picture. I DO travel.
I am well versed in the fantastic challenges and rewards of this craft of making beautiful and emotional photographs while being technically on point.

No shoot is too small. I never know what my next photograph will be - nor who I will be producing that photograph for but I do know it has to be my best photograph ever.
