**~ Travel ~**
January 23rd to March 23rd 2012 -->
Paris
Feel free to contact me now to arrange to work together!
The weekends provide me the most availability for possible travel to neighboring countries...
Spain, Netherlands, Germany, Switerland, UK.
However, I do have somewhat flexible availability during the week, so contact me now, lovely Parisians.
------
I'm going to do a
megauberhuge US tour from Spring to Fall of 2012.
It will be my opportunity to be
the nomatic bohemian I've always wanted to be.
With a couple of exceptions, I will be traveling via train with only a backpack.
North to South, Coast to Coast. Lots of new places, and returning to favorites as well.

Hi, my name is Brooke. I am an experienced, internationally published art nude model, and I am available for most creative collaborations.

My Intentions & Philosophy on Fine Art Nude Modeling:
I'll go ahead and admit my fanciful secret: I would love to lead a bohemian, nomadic life, traveling the earth and giving my heart and energy to the creation of evocative, stimulating art that inspires others to feel, think, see or otherwise have an experience they've never had before. I passionately aim to move the viewer in a silent but influential way.
If you are considering working with me, note this: I do aim to move the viewer in every artistic endeavor I participate in, and in no way is my fine art modeling excluded. It's a very meaningful, creative outlet of expression I have in my life.
I am extremely privileged and honored to be considered a muse by a handful of wonderful artists, and I don't take that distinction lightly.
This is my passion, and in no way will I sacrifice the quality of either an image or a shoot because of personal conflicts, or whatever the case might be. My goal is to collaborate to create wonderful art that will outlast my great-great-great grandchildren.
If you do not share this view and passion of your art, you should consider working with someone else.

What can you expect of me?
I work very hard at what I do and I am very passionate about it, and I continually strive to be better at each shoot, with every shot. My heart is in this to make awesome art, to collaborate with other passionate artists creating pieces that tell stories, art to hang on any wall, and images that make you lean in closer so you can try to figure out what the hell is going on. I care about creating art, all the other drama in this industry can be left aside... I'm not interested.
I am bendy. My favorite type of posing is curling up and tying myself up into a pretzel, but I am very proficient at any type of modeling (except for fashion), whether it be classic fine art, dance, emotive, abstraction, or just plain strange. I pose competently and passionately with or without direction. I can hold hard poses for long periods of time (I pose for lightpaintings and life drawing classes). Photographers say I'm easygoing and great to travel with. I'm a trouper. I take (calculated) risks. I might get detained one day for pubic nudity. I sacrifice my body for art.

FYI... Perhaps TMI
My skin isnât perfect, and my hair is wispy and naturally wavy (I can blowdry it straight, although I prefer not to). I have subtle stretch marks on my hips. I keep a trimmed and full pubic area. No, I wont shave it for you, sorry. I have an even and smooth olive complexion. I wear glasses, so I'll often be taking them off and on. I keep my stats up to date.
If I've never worked with you before, I will not sign a model release until after the shoot is over.
I am not interested in erotica or fetish work. Special considerations taken only if you are a superstar in my eyes, and I am unreasonably picky.
I prefer to communicate and discuss shoots via PM or email. This allows me to keep record of our conversations and reduces the incidence of me forgetting vital information for the shoot, as I frequently have the memory of a goldfish. I'm more than happy to discuss and confirm shoots over the phone, if you so wish.

Compensation
I am one of the handful of art models on this ever-growing site that has this as her only occupation. So while I need money to eat and get me to my next shoot and to cover travel expenses, my primary drive and passion is to create art.
If you want to collaborate together, let's work something out.
Travel
I am always very excited and eager to model in exchange for travel expenses.
Trade
I'm up for some other quality trades. Including a medium format film camera (mamya 6X7, Hasselblad, Rolleiflex...), road bike... feel free to throw other ideas at me.

You should know that...
... I love being in nature and near the water. Its where I am most at peace.
... I'm an ovo-lacto vegetarian who caves for sushi. I love wasabi!
... I love spicy food. The spicier the better. Seriously, I dare you to out-spice me.
... I can be quite shy and quiet, especially at first meeting.
... I have anosmia. Google it.
... I go gaga for film and squares.
... I LOVE daisies and kittehs.
... I live and breathe for art.

Straight from the fingertips of one of my beloved artistic heroes. This email was sent to me completely unprovoked.
" Brooke,
A fan sent me a link to your blog ... and that got me snooping around your site, and I was compelled to write you a quick note. SUCH beautiful work! Truly gorgeous, inspired images - you have such an eye for the delicate and the subtle.
Perhaps our paths will one day cross; until then, please know that you have a new fan in Los Angeles.
With much admiration,
Eric Whitacre "

** Oh, and, just so you know, I don't take myself quite so seriously as my profile might indicate. I do non-fine art shoots occasionally if the work captures my interest (without so much pressure and emphasis on the Art, with a capital A.)
A girl's gotta let loose every now and then!
