Friends do not typically make the best models for artistic projects, which is why I'm here! I am beginning my personal journey to create narratives within multi-photograph sets, similar to a "photo essay". I'm looking for models who have an interest in acting for still photos as opposed to movies. From the model/actor perspective, this format is more forgiving in terms of acting technique. Ideally, the shoots will involve two or more models/actors. Even if you can not see yourself acting in a movie, if you're able to get into character and convey this through a variety of facial expressions and body language, you're going to do well.

I shoot exclusively in B&W film (medium format) and use studio lighting as well as natural and traditional location-specific sources (lamps, ceiling lights, etc). Settings could be in someone's house, apartment, store, vehicle, or equipped photo studio. Some shoots may be outdoors.
