I am a sculptor and painter and frequently work with models for specific projects. I am looking for models with a positive, confident and enthusiastic personality, with grace and fluidity to suit each particular upcoming sculpture or painting. I like models to bring something of their own personality and interpretation to the stories I am telling with my work. Having some movement or modern dance background is often helpful, as much of what I do involves motion rather than static poses. Although I use photography as a tool to capture motion, the photographs are for reference only and are not the final product. All modeling sessions are paid at a standard fine artist model rate. Models who live outside of Santa Fe may be compensated for their travel time.
