Growing up I've been conditioned by my peers to believe Asian males are not attractive, so modeling and acting for lead roles were nowhere near my scope of a foreseeable future. Even though I've always enjoyed being on stage as an actor and performer moreso for comedy and drama, I've never thought to pursue modeling as a potential career. Media had always been my passion, so I've spent my career behind the camera as a Co-Founder of a small video/ photo production company creating corporate media content such as commercials, speeches, internal business videos, and product videos. Now after 8 years of running my business, I've grown enough confidence and life experience to be confident in who I am and am proud to be Asian-American. I want to represent and lift the spirits of those who have also felt that they are not desired for being a minority. No matter what the root cause of a person's incompetence, it would be great if more people break through the glass ceiling and bring others into the mindset of self-confidence and pride.
